INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual therapy is the practice of reflecting on our thoughts, feelings, beliefs and experiences so we can gain a better understanding of ourselves. When we understand ourselves better, we are often able to heal from current and past pains, develop better habits, and move towards a sense of peace and contentment.

This process begins with you and your therapist collaborating to develop a shared sense of purpose that is reflected in your treatment goals. These goals serve as a roadmap that guide the exploration and reflection that occur inside therapy which can provide relief and start you on the path of creating a renewed foundation that includes better coping skills, a greater understanding of yourself, additional perspective building, and sense of personal agency.
